Bernard Nadler

Bernard Nadler is a tail section survivor of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815 and the husband of Rose. He is the only tail section survivor that has not been killed, captured, or assimilated in to the Others. He wasn't seated in the tail section, and was only there when the plane crashed because he was using the bathroom then. Bernard cares very much for Rose and feels a need to fix things, like her cancer, not dissimilar to Jack.

Did anyone notice that when they had the meeting with the sheriff that she was pressing Jack to tell the truth, Like as if Juliet already said she did???

I think they were more interested in Jack than Juliet...they got BIG plans for our Jack.

Agreed, the meeting was all about Jack. Juliet was nothing more than a prop. Had he formed enough of a bond with Juliet to be willing to lie for her?

They were testing his bond with her, step 1 was to see if he would lie for her, then they see if he would do anything to save her life.

I agree with you all.

The whole episode is another manipulation. It starts with the whole walking them by eachother... please.. they did that on purpose to start the mind games. they could have waited. i know know 5 MINS! and then jack wouldnt have known about juliet...


I think this is so they can have her try and influence his descisions more as they are afraid of jack and how strong his will power and morals and brains are.

I'm suspecting a power struggle within the Others themselves and they are trying to see where everyone falls. Jack could be a useful tool in manipulating or discovering where loyalties lie.

i hate to say this. but she makes juliet twice as bearable...


i know i know... i wouldnt have expected those words come out of my mouth either... but they did... depending on what happens... i may need to change my signature to include her in the backhand...
