I don't think there is a third island, I think they were referring to the bigger island and the community we saw at the beginning of season 3, where the book club meeting was.

don't worry, Ben, I'll keep watching, but no one will ever convince me that I should like this episode...to each his or her own, but this one just wasn't for me. I'm more into the whole island/mythology/hatches/monster stuff rather than all this BS boring character back story. Maybe now that I'm learning more about these characters, I'm seeing that I really don't find them all that interesting. Just get us into that darn Flame hatch already! Then I'll be happy again...

Ah the Flame.... I have some hatch post ideas i am working on. I expect i'll hear from you then aswell. I would give anythign for a philly cheesesteak right now.

Indeed, the episode revealed many things that will be essential for future episodes. And it had to be put in some time.

As for Jack's tattoo, I am happy that they finally explained them, I was getting restless about it. I thank the writers for finally answering our question!

Er it was ok but.......it cud of been better by LOST standards !
Once we get a Jate reunion it will be much much MUCH better

I no im soooo glad they are FINALLY starting to answer all these questions ! Now we just need 2 no: what exacally is going on with the whole Losties, How did Locke end up in a wheel chair, Where the hell are they, Who is Jacob, Who's this Isabelle dude, Are they ever gunna get off the island etc. So are we slowly gettin all these question answered.

I love Lost, but this epi was a waste of time....

couldn't agree more with Logan42 about this episode and about the general feel of the show... I don't think much that's essential was revealed with this episode-- the mystery about Jack's tattoos could just as well be solved in some other way, it deserved less than a 40 min episode of its own. Plus, I'm not much of a Jack fan either, and I'd have preferred to see this episode shedding light to more important stuff going on in the script at this point.

Sorry to say that Jack and Achara's make-out scenes were some of the most UN-hot screen sex I've ever seen- you could totally see there was no professional chemistry or attunment going on between the actors. I'm disappointed in producer's Bai Ling choice- why some (B) class celeb whose stance was already exhausted in adult magazines and MTV singing contests long before the show? Why not a prettier, more talented and more convincing Asian actress for the role? Then again, Jack's a man of bad choices so that explains the tattoos, the girl and the whole episode.

That's funny and true.

Yeah I didn't care for this episode. I guess I missed the boat on being curious about Jack's tattoos, until this eppy I hadn't thought about them since the pilot.

I don't know, the guy's a doc, divorced with no kids, emotional and has tattoos but I still can't get myself to liking him a bit
