 Kate Austen
Kate Austen is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Kate is a fugitive, and was being pursued by Marshal Mars prior to the flight, for blowing up her father. Kate had been captured in Australia and was being escorted back to the United States before the crash. Kate has always seemed to run away from her past. Even on the Island, Kate exhibits a kind of evasive behavior to escape from her problems. Kate, when on the run, always had good intentions and never did any outright harm or killings to anybody, she believed she was doing things for the greater benefit of others. This view is prominently connected with her actions of her father's murder - she believed she was relieving her mother from his abusive presence. Kate is strong-willed, useful and clever, but dislikes being alone and is usually level-headed.
She has escaped from the captivity of the Others with Sawyer, and has formed an ambiguous romantic relationship with him, despite still being unsure about her feelings for Jack.

2 Posibilites for this occurence:
1- Since it is all a dream in des's head. the things are changing and morphing costantly as his past thoguhts are compiling into a lucid dream...
2- they are from 3 different shots and the editor did his best to avoid continuity errors... but no one is perfect. ( just an error in production ) |

Here is the summary of the podcast interview provided at another site.
* Desmond's experience NOT a Flashback, it really happened and was not a dream
* The Experience Desmond happened in 1996
* Desmond next flashback will feature him in the Army
* Honour was spelt wrong on the poster
* The will be no Danielle Flashback until season 4
* They claim that ABC is over stating “The 3 Mysteries Revealed” in the trailer. They claim it is more like 1 with some old yet familiar faces
* If Desmond hadn't gone to the island everyone would have been killed
* Rousseau knows more than she is letting on, and that she may appear in someone else's flashback.
* The woman with the 70 year old womb is NOT Juliet
* Cuse, claims an episode this season will be called The Man From Tallahassee although he could be joking

That's exactly what I thought! I also think that old lady at the jewelers is caught in a loop. Like Bill Murray in "groundhog's day" the movie. I remembered that scene where he could count by the seconds what was happening right in front of him. |
