Ana-Lucia Cortez

Ana-Lucia Cortez was an ex-police officer who sat in the tail section of Flight 815 when it crashed. She took a leadership role in the group and led her party across the Island, reuniting them with the rest of the passengers. Ana was known to be very emotionally cold and her background in policing helped her with her leadership role. Ana-Lucia survived on the Island for 65 days before being shot and killed by Michael.

Question Red Shoes
Did anyone think that the scene with the jewerly lady and Desmond and the dude with red shoes gets crushed by the scafolding seem a little Wizard of Oz ish? That was the first thing to come to mind for me and No Benmer I was not drinking when I watched Lost last night..

Its funny becuase i think a red lighter is a bad omen. obviously in london red converse are taboo...

and that woman was a figment of des mind.

It seemed sort of matrix-ish to me. De ja vu talk, lady in the red dress program- guy in the red converse scene, people you don't know know of your whole life.... I don't know though.

I do like the Wizard of Oz angle though

Yea but the matrix doesn't really hold when you add in that the producers already said that it can be explained with science... The dream & life flashing before your eyes can...

Which is why I think the whole Des ep is what Des himself said, I have a concussion. Although what Benmer said somewhere about ESP could be true, because a concussion would explain seeing into the past, but the esp angle would explain(?) Des ability to see future events.

The matrix theory hold true... Science is def a part of that. Maybe itf mor of a parralele between neo and Des... wich is possibly the nicest compliment i can give him...


Neo learns how to see his world in different eyes. That allow him to change his surroundings and see things we might normally think impossible... ( obvously allwoing him to fight thousands of Mr smiths and be able to sense things in the world.)
