I think that she just means that it was a "fluke" no one arranged for him to get hit by a bus... It just happened....

Yeah, I know. Its just that she said I don't think a human is capable of that. They could have easily ran somone over, under the cover of "For the greater good."

Right... I think that jen meant that no human was capable of getting the whole event with him getting hit by a bus arranged... But I may be wrong..

I rewatched this episode (man I love tivo) and Richard Alpert with his gorgeous eyes knew that Juliette's sister was pregnant, he is in cahoots with Ethan, obviously gets Juliette to the island...he totally could have had Ex Husband Ed hit by a bus. That bus can be seen parked on the side of the road nearby, at the beginning of the scene, as they talk you can here quite a bit of honking, maybe cuz the bus(driver) is just sitting there waiting for its chance and it is blocking traffic...hmm...

Yea I just rewatched this eps too... I also noticed the bus just sitting there in the begining of the scene... I totally agree with you!!

I also agree. My dad was like, that is a bus up the street, he's getting hit. He said it would have been funny if when Ethan showed up in the morgue he had a bus drivers's cap on. By the way Hazzard, I too was thinking how beautiful his eyes were. He is really handsome. I have always had a thing for guys with Dark hair and dark eyes....and accents, 2 out of 3 isn't bad.

I was just thinking of how Richard told Juliette that they are privately funded which means 'freedom'...and she has basically been kept prisoner on the island for over 3 years.

I was thinking about that today too... In season 3 1st episode durning the book club meeting when the guy was complaining about the book she said well excuse me if I thought free will still existed in.....

I am pretty sure that the bus "accident" was arranged by Richard and company. I liked the thought of Ethan showing up with a bus drivers hat on...lol. Juliet was promised the freedom to conduct her research, unfortunately the price was her personal freedom.

Tessa, you should watch old episodes of Suddenly Susan; pretty crappy show, but the guy playing Richard Alpert was on that show, and he had a Spanish accent...
