Picket's Last Words

The last conversation Picket had with Juliet before she shot him was very interesting. When she told him that Ben had ordered her to release Sawyer and Kate he replied-
"I know Ben would rather die than let them go." (or something close to that)
He really seemed to believe what he was saying. Why would that be the case? Why would Ben be so determined to keep them around?
Obviously, he would rather not have the other losties know their true location...but to prefer his own death seems pretty extreme. Juliet didn't even really seem to challenge what he said. Did he really tell her to let them go, or was it another deception?

Thats just it we don't know what Ben really told her.. So its gonna be pure spectulation for the next week or two I would have to say...

I do have to admit I was cheering her on when she killed him =)

I cheered, too Wed. So glad that jerk is gone.

I'm sad to see the character leave, he was I think the best actor on the show since the fall and demise of Eko.

Henry is evil and i knew he was still alive during the surgery... i mean jack was in control but you knew he had to get put in the cage somehow

So henry, tells juliet... we have plenty of hired goons... but we dont have a doctor... so lets take our most irrational goon out... danny.

Its so hard to tell at this point what goes on between those two. Henry and juliet are such scheeming liars that... I always know some deception is comming but btoh of them throwing 7 kinds of smoke is daunting.
