So, with the title being "Not in Portland" are we to assume this is a direct reference to the island? I think so. Juliet thinks the job is in Portland, but the guy tells her its not exactly in Portland (or whatever his exact words are) because the job is on the island...she accepted the job offer and was sent to the island. So now we know how she got there.

Well i think we can put together how she got there.... but i personally dont thnk they let her see where they took her. Maybe they knocked her out for the plan ride/boat ride. We can also assume that she was brought to help find a fertility cure for the folks on the island... it seems alex might hve been the last child born on the island..

Should we assume that is how everyone else on the smaller island got there? By a tricky invitation ? Well , everyone besides those in charge , Henry and company . And did you catch the fact that Julliet is a fertility expert ?
