Shannon Rutherford

Shannon Rutherford was a middle section survivor of Oceanic Flight 815 and was Boone's stepsister, who she frequently argued with. She was very selfish at times, though she eventually formed a romantic relationship with Sayid. Shannon survived on the Island for 48 days before she was unintentionally shot and killed by Ana-Lucia Cortez.

Remember at the beginning of season 3 when Ben told Ethan to hurry and get a list if he ran he could be there by nightfall. With that being said I think they are on the same island and it was all to manipulate Sawyer for an upcoming episode.

But if you also remember, after they had captured Jack, Sawyer and Kate, Hurley questioned Ben about "his friends". Ben said they were going with them. So there could be another island they just went over to.

true, if you assume Ben's village is on the same island as the Hydra station, and I'm assuming its not. I'm assuming the village in which Ben and his people were living is on the same island as the plane crash, and the Hydra station is on a separate, smaller island.
