 Paulo
Paulo was one of the middle section survivors of Flight 815. Before the crash, he and Nikki Fernandez murdered Howard L. Zukerman and stole his diamonds. They spent most of their time on the island searching for these diamonds to the exclusion of almost everything else. A bite from a Medusa spider induced a death-like paralysis in Paulo. He subsequently died as a result of being buried alive while paralized.

true, if you assume Ben's village is on the same island as the Hydra station, and I'm assuming its not. I'm assuming the village in which Ben and his people were living is on the same island as the plane crash, and the Hydra station is on a separate, smaller island. |
