Do the Others Like Ben? Or Not?

Does everyone remember when Juliet hung up those cards telling Jack to kill Ben? Was she for real? If she was, then why did the others completely freak out when Jack was about to let Ben die? I'm so confused!

My only theory: Juliet is actually working for the "other" others, such as that one girl with the slingshot. It's very apparent that there are two groups of others, whether they are both on the same island, or on separate islands. Juliet could be a "double agent," so to speak.

She said in the cards that some of them want a change. We don't know who those other people are. There are some people who think it was all a mind game. kinda good cop, bad cop with her and Ben. I think she was tellng the truth. I think I'm one of the few who do. As for Alex (sling shot girl) I think she is one of the ones who is unhappy but I don't think she wants Ben dead.

I think the majority do not want him dead, just they want him to change some of his ways.

The only person that seems to clash with Ben is Juliet herself, so she's basically telling Jack to do a favour for her and not the Others.

I haven't seen Season Three yet but I have seen what happens on LostPedia (Main Page - Lostpedia = great site). It airs here in February in NZ and that's when the rest of the Season Three episodes air in the US!

If there were any people in the room that DIDN'T want Ben dead, then everyone who did want him dead (like Juliette possibly) would have to act like they were freaking out when Jack threatened to kill him.

I believe Juliette was for real when she wrote those notes to Jack. I can understand the 'good cop/bad cop' theory, except that it seriously puts Ben's life in danger. Maybe they figure Jack's not capable of killing someone in cold blood like that . . . I don't know . . . but that's a hell of a risk for Ben to take if he and Juliette set Jack up for this together.

I suspect that Juliet is actually BAD, and that Ben might be working from the inside of his own group to set them on the right path.

Hence why Alex wanted to see Ben (she yelled it a couple of times) when the Others were dragging her away from the cages.

When they said that Jack wasn't on Jacob's list, they sounded a little annoyed at the whole situation. Blaming Ben for bringing Jack over in the first place, the only reason Jack was on Jacob's list, then, would be because Ben added him for his own selfish tumor related reasons. And they don't seem to approve of that. Sounds to me like they have issues with the way Ben is running things.

I think that danny and those underlings arent let in on the Henry Gale/ Juliet plans and scemes in full. They get surface details and thats it.

The best way to keep people in order is to keep all the facts from them. Take away thier options... Much like blinders on a horse.
