The (Mini) Cliffhanger

What did we think of the cliffhanger?
Any good?

I was disappointed...I guess I was expecting something bigger to hold us over until February

It was an adequate cliffhanger since it was not an end of the season finale. I don't really feel a lot of anxiety about Sawyer getting offed yet, but of course am not quite sure how this situation will play out. The promo gives us further confidence because it tells us that fear has been keeping them captive, but hope will set them free. So, it seems to me that some type of escape/rescue attempt is just around the corner.

I would have liked to have seen a better balance between the captives and Locke and them . What was the deal with Locke seeing that verse/clue on Echo's Jesus stick . The preview on Direct TV said Locke would find a possible answer to the Island on this episode . Was that it ??? ...I am so glad to see Jack finally get with an offense . He may be my new favorite guy .... My theory about the others wanting Kate to mate with one or the other may be true afterall . You know the others saw them together and allowed them to be . maybe that whole thing with Kate and Sawyer was a pyschological manipulation to get them to really get close and etc.....

Yeah, I was surprised that they didn't come and break them up, because they have cameras on them. Unless nobody was watching them at the time. Ben was talking to Jack and then prepping for surgery. Whose voice was it Jack heard on the intercom - "try the door:?" It seems like it was set up that the door was open and no one was around. - I think they wanted the Kate and Sawyer thing to happen and also for Jack to see them. These people want to control everything, so it seems strange that they would slip up.......

With the stick... Remember when Michael was talking to Walt on the computer before he ran off after him... North was a key there too... All I think it means is there camp is to the north...

I was a little disappointed with it, they didn't show enough about Locke and the others that went with him,and why do you think they just let Sawyer and Kate get out and be together like that? I've heard a theory that it is a breeding facility, and that is why Ben picked Juliette who resembles Sarah to be with Jack. Personally I think the other's reason for being there is more complex than that. At least I hope it is.

Haha, maybe they were watching Kate and Sawyer for entertainment. You know, been on the island for while, things are kinda slow, and then BAM! new porn to add to your collection! I think that's exactly how it went down.

I agree they probably made popcorn and gathered round to watch something other than cartoons and Baseball.
Let's face it entertainment is probably hard to find on that Island, all the good stuff is happening on the other one.

Now... I really think that this little mini season has been quite the stinker, unexciting and somewhat boring, not poor quality mind you... just maybe a little illconceived. The mini cliffhanger wasn't so bad, but more a let down because there was really nothing in the last six episodes that really made a lost fan go... "WOW!".

and another thing, I think it would have been cool if they would of at least informed us as to why Henry allowed himself to be captured in the first place. even if his explanation was a lie.
