Johnathan "John" Locke

Johnathan "John" Locke is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. His paralysis was immediately healed upon crashing on the Island, which has ultimately led him to believe he has some sort of special connection to the Island. He is sometimes shown in antithesis to Benjamin Linus, sharing several traits including the ability to commune with Jacob. Seen as antithetical to Jack Shephard, he and Jack are philosophical opposites and used to share leadership among the survivors, but now seems to be creating his own agenda for his actions on the Island and has broken off from the survivors.

I had to work last night and my friend called me after the show and gave me the rundown on ewhat went on. She said after the show when they were showing next week's previews she saw "Season Finale" next week!! Could this be after only four episodes? I'm pretty bummed about this. Only four episodes. Is this a ploy to get people to buy movie channels from cable tv companies. If she was wrong somebody please tell me.

The season will continue in January and will run straight to the finale.

They are calling it the FALL Season Finale, so it is the end of the series for the rest of this year. I guess that means we now get treated to 2 Finales this season, which I think is pretty cool. I will miss the show, but I like having something to look forward to in February.

Ok this has me really pissed off for some reason, but it said the "FALL SEASON FINALE" also there has been 6 not four episodes, and in february there will be new ones twelve BRAND F***ING NEW EPISODES IN A ROW???

actually I thought there was going to be 16 new episodes in a row starting in February...I could be wrong, though...

Its actually 17 new episodes in a row. With the episodes starting again on Feb. 7th.

I like the no repeat idea- but would have rather had an even split with 11 now and 12 then.

I really don't like this 'fall break' thing. I'd much rather them show repeats than not showing the show at all. And that Daybreak show looks REALLY stupid, in my opinion. Isn't there a movie coming out with the same concept? Seems like people have the same ideas at the same time...

But still, I'm not looking foward to going so long without watching LOST on TV.
