Yeah Daybreak is "Groundhogs Day", but on the West Coast. Thus, it requires Escalades and gunfights. Unlike Groundhogs day with simple Mid-West problems like kids falling out of tree's and stepping in a puddle.

It is because of sites such as this, and fan feedback, that the producers decided to go with this season design. They were frustrated with how segmented the show was becoming with all of the gaps between episodes. Fans were becoming inpatient (and rightfully so!) about how long it took to get new episodes. THUS, they decided to break the season into two parts.

They're official title of this break was at first "A Mini Cliff-Hanger" which would be followed by 3 months of no new shows, then followed by 17 straight new episodes right through the finale.

At first, i thought it was a dumb idea, but i can now appreicate what they are trying to do. Plus, it gives new comers some time to catch up!!! lol

I've always liked the single big break idea, I would rather not watch commercial filled re-runs. Watching the episodes from ABC.com is a cool feature.
