Nikki had to explain to Locke about the projects?

Nikki, obviously the brains beind the Nikki/Paolo team, had to explain to Locke that the film said there were projects, "projectS", and so there must be more stations? Come on, Locke knows this. I guess what he was feeling stupid about was not thinking of using the "tv screens", but the writers made a point of Nikki talking about the projectS.

Yeah I thought Locke understood about all that, I was suprised that she had to explain that to them..I mean it was pretty obvious, we all understood.'

Well we do know Paulo can golf. and basically we know thats all he has done the entire stay on the island. Nikki is smoking like the black smoke, but more so. she had to make a presence as a character so they gave her the genuis idea of listening to words said on the tape. Truely a simple feat i know, but we are all innundated with TV and computers all day ( obviously). We can take in a lot of info. mtv generation. so the thoughts that Locke missed it arent that big of deal, especially when he is there looking for other clues and answers and the first time he was there was a crazy adventure with eko....

And Nikki has been doing NOTHING for the first two season but twiddle her thumbs... so when she got a chance at some TV.... whammo... into her skill set.. just get her some bon bons.

Locke was the one who saw the map on the blast door. Locke was the one who found the Pearl station (with Eko's help). The Tailies were found in the Arrow (did they NEVER discuss where they had been living..uh.. no.. wait... they did because Eko had the piece of film that Locke had seen). Locke had seen the blast door map, and then finds a station with a whole bunch of tv monitering screens - he knew there were more projects.
It doesn't matter now, but why did Locke not try and get Sayid to flip the black lights in the hatch to show others the map?

yeah... with the whole henry gale escaping thing, two women getting shot and our boys getting taken by the others i dont think he had much time to get sayid to do that.. ( rewire the terminal or whatever. ) besides he was going head to head with ecko about the button after Henry gale lied yet again...

Also when they hotwired the hatch in the end of the season to keep Ecko out. the blacklights didnt come on, so there is no telling what would need to be done to get them to work again. we dont know what henry Gale did when locke was trapped under the door.

Sayid was doing other sayid things... and maybe they didnt need him in the hatch with Charlie and desmond aswell... too many cooks in the kitchen obviously... as it imploded.

besides it took TONS of Proding to get Sayid to Help Hurly with his Radio idea.. so sayid isnt the most easy guy to get to help with things. he seems to have a richeousness about him at times when people need his technical help.

Sayid jumped right in to try and fix the monitors, though.

No for sure he did now. hes more central now and has to step into his responsibiity as a Veteran. I use this phrase as saying a season 1 vet.

he knows now, that it wont work to do his own thing... it hasnt helped him in the past so he knows now he must help the group..
