Frustrated? - Page 2

I wonder if smokie is programmed by the others because it seems to be very smart. I was almost thinking that smokie was a projection (like when walt was soaked in water) that possibly came from the others, but not after this episode/ posts. That is one fine security system.

I find it intresting that some poeple are uncomfortable with the thought of God in a T.V. show. I am not passing any kind of judgment here I want to make sure everyone understands that. I don't think you can remove God (However you may think of Him/ Her) from a show that deals so often with life, death and such a wildly diverse group of characters struggling to survive. We deal with others beliefs every day. I believe in a few things some people think are foolish and even impossible. I believe them with all my heart but, I refuse to say your way is any less valid just because I may not follow the same path. Lost may walk a thin line between the two but, I am willing to give it every chance. It is after all entertaining.

I think all (except for Jon) the losties are thinking about is "how the hell are we going to get out of hre?"

I don't expect instant answers, but I am getting a bit frustrated with all the unanswered questions and loose ends. Ecko is the perfect example. They kept making sure we saw the different references to scripture passages on his stick. Now we'll probably never know why he chose to carve those particular ones.

I'm pretty sure that the horse that Kate and Sawyer saw was the 'monster' in disguise, and I also agree with it taking the form of Jacks dad and Hurley's friend. Miss Klugh said that they had gotten more that they had bargained for with Walt and kept asking Michael if Walt had appeared places he was not supposed to be. Implying that it was actually Walt that was being seen and not necessarily Smokey.

wasn't it whenever smokey showed up it almost sounded like a modem or something like that.... I thought I heard that or like the old school printer sound.. anyone else know what I'm talking about

You just know that when this show's run is up in a couple years, we're all going to be scratching our heads over hundreds of loose ends that never were resolved. Accept it now.

I have no doubt there will be a lot of unanswered questions... I was just wondering if anyone else heard what i did or thought that it sounded like a computer modem

Ok , the God/Religion references last night were due to Echo's flashback , his story and his quest to find peace ,forgiveness or whatever . I do not see where the subject comes up again except for Charlie and that one reference Ben asking Jack if he believes in God . My point is there are sooooooooo many other back stories and happenings that have no God in them . so why all the emphisis about that one issue .... But the point about life , death and God are all connected is true . And the other thing bout the smoke being Jacks dad ,Walt etc..... Jack found his dad's coffin , but the body was NOT there , when Echo got to the plane , Nemi's body was NOT there . So my thought is , where were they ? Who or what were Jack and Echo chasing ? I don't know if I buy the smoke imaging thing .
