Dr. Jack Shephard
Dr. Jack Shephard is often seen as the main character of the series. He is a spinal surgeon and the de facto leader of the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Jack has control issues and trouble dealing with situations that he cannot fix. However, this attitude of solving problems through reason has given him the ability to function well in crisis. Sometimes, if he feels guilt or pain over a situation he can't fix himself, he will do anything he can to fix it, even borderlining on obsessive. Jack is, most of the time, in control of his life, emotions and situation he is in and is able to keep a cool head in tense situations. Jack is also the half brother of Claire Littleton, although neither of them is aware of this. Jack has formed very strong bonds with Kate and Juliet while he has been on the Island.

The Rabbit
The Rabbit, in the cage, with the "8" on its back did ring ALOT of bells here..
- I'm pretty sure its from a Stephen King book (cant figure out which one)
- White Rabbit was a Jack flashback in season 1
- Sawyer was reading Watership Down
- "White Rabbit" could be an Alice in Wonderland/Matrix reference...
Thoughts?

Probably from the stephen king book that Juliet was holding in the season 3 premiere when the plane crashes... anyone?
8 is also an infinity sign.... endles life on the island??? ( obviously unless someone shoots you...)
Well we already went down one rabbit hole ( the hatch) but it could also be for Sawyer to see how dee the other's lifestyle/camp rally goes... ( as opposed to fighting it all the time.

what do rabbits The get down and get funky all day long... What do the others do...??? not eachother and they don't funk like rabbits... maybe they idolize Rabbit # 8 becuase hes the male stallion of thier female rabbit populus. Also it seems Henry Gale is like George and Sawyer is Like Lenny... maybe.?
