Sawyer and Clementine

So what was the view on Sawyer having a child by Cassidy and then he denied it was his? I believe the reason that he did that is he didn't want to end up like his father and hurt his child.

By the way he set up that bank account in Albuqerque which is the same place that Kate and friends robbed the bank.

Maybe I'm off the deep end here but, I don't think it was his daughter. I think Casidy was conning him. it would fit right into the Conning the con theme. I kinda like the idea that he has a heart. I just have this feeling that it's not what it seems.

that is my thought as well, i dont like him getting conned, deep down inside, he has a heart.

Pleease tell me who Cassidy is,in relation to the show and Sawyer..I haven't missed even one show,but can't place her...and wasn't Cassidy the Other that was shot??? OOOOH I'm so mixed up/////<><<%$&

no. i think that the woman who was shot was not Cassidy from the Jail scene.

instead i think she as more just to help us establish that sawyer can care about someone besides himself.... even though he wants no one ( but the warden ) to know it

she was in the second season episode The Long Con...she was being conned by Sawyer out of her money.

That was my thought exactly when I saw that scene. I think the warden was running his own scam on Sawyer and merely employed Cassidy and the two "government men" to get Sawyer to go through with his part of the deal. Remember, there's no honor among thieves and Sawyer himself demonstrated that several times earlier in the series.

About Sawyer being conned in Jail, I agree completely, Cassidy definetly seemed like the revenge type, as in take revenge on Sawyer. She knew he would do the right thing. Sawyer has a heart, so did she until hers was broken.

Yeah especially after he conned her in the Long Con episode... we have no reason to believe anything she comes with... a picture of a baby doesnt prove anything. But i think she knew the reaction she was going to get when she showed Sawyer that baby.... Does the name Clementine signify anything with regards to Of mice and men or any of the other books we have reference this season ( stephen king) ...?
