a baby in prison would have been too much of a con for sawyer... he would have picked up on it... then again. "Henry Gale" did do some rabbit tricks and con Sawyer pretty good...

True! and I keep going back to the line Ben said about the only way to gain the respect of a con man is to con him (how does he know Sawyer was a con man - they obiously have a dossier on him too) then Ben says something like you're good; we're better. Sawyer was the "conner" in the real world, now he's the victim.
