Mr. Eko

Eko, also known as Mr. Eko or Father Tunde, was one of the tail section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He was a notorious war lord and drug smuggler in Nigeria before his brother Yemi's death. To get out of his country he hastily became a priest, but after Yemi's death, he seemed to take his role more seriously. Eko survived on the Island for 72 days before he was killed by the Monster.

I thought last week was better.

Favorite scene: when Sawyer tried to trap Henry, not knowing they had turned the electricity off.

Finding out about the two islands was cool.

I thought this episode was just okay, dissapointing Sawyer flashbacks, other then to show that he has a heart.

Ben ofcourse was a great character, as always. Juliet was okay, but whatever. They really threw us off with the "DO YOU LOVE THIS MAN", I thought it was Ben for sure. Those Tricksy commercial putter togetherererers.

I liked it. The theme of coning the con makes me think that the baby is not Saywers. He may have just been tricked into giving his finders fee to the lady that put him away. I'm not sure what to think of the trip they took to see the other island. I don't believe anything that comes out of Ben's mouth any more unless he's talking to one of his people. Ben has a life threatening tumor!? cool! Wow! that sounded really cold didn't it. Oh well.

I thought this was a great episode. I was surprised that Sawyer got tricked though. The ending was good.

I think every ep so far this season has been excellent. They're creating all sorts of new questions for viewers to puzzle over. It's too bad that they seem to be heading for the break without resolving any of them. I guess that's their way of assuring return of as many viewers as possible when the show returns.

The show has been quite good the whole season, but I do think that the flashbacks are becoming obsolete to use as a story telling tool, they don't have to much of a punch to them, and I think that they can leave those sequences behind and just tell the story that is happening now.

I'm liking it. I can't understand those who aren't getting into it. You can't have it all rushed. I thought this was excellent. The trick they pulled on Sawyer, the way they kept Jack from hearing or seeing the other two, the way Desmond saved Claire's life.

My favorite line of the night: "Did you just kill that bunny?" - Sawyer

I agree.

great episodes.... for those who need more answers or more ends tied up... thats not what these types of shows are about. thats what happens in sketch comedy, medical drama's or sit coms.... They reset all the main characters to roughly the same state they were in when the episode begins... we cant reset our characters in this becuase they are not living in a normal human place. The can't go home and sleep off thier bad date or call someone and get a drink becuase the law and oder case isnt going well ( and by the way thats every episode of law and order, justa different bar)

Anywho... Lost is rocking. Season 3 and we have come so far....

And you don't want to get the big answer to everything right now... then what would we have to look forward to? we wouldnt be lost anymore and this forum would end... sad i know.

I do disagree with the flashback comment though... ( a few posts back) the flashbacks are always timed perfectly to the character's experiences on the island. Usually they parrallel between what is going on ON the island as well as what happend in the past to bring them there.

much like a second chance to make a different decision this time around...
