Supernatural Powers

So someone posted in a tale of two cities that Juliet can maybe read Jack's mind, and I didn't think too much of it until this episode. Desmond apparently has some clairavoiyant ability that didn't seem to exist before the hatch imploded. And the others do live in a huge crater. that might be an older, larger version of the hatch crater. Locke also seems to have some supernatural powers, but Locke is..well, Locke. He's always like that. I don't know, what do you guys think?

Well i dont know about the superpowers thing, dont want this show to look like "Heroes" (it should be the other way around)
But the crater where the others live in is HUGE .. it would have been a hatch that was at least double the size of the crater. If something implodes, dirt doesnt shoot out, it shoots in so a crater of an Implosion is ALOT smaller then one from an Explosion.

I still don't get how Desmond, Eko, and Locke end up on the surface when the hatch imploded. They are def gonna have to clear that up.

Yeah definitely, I'm with you on that one.

They must have managed to escape just while the sky lit up, because they would have been crushed if they were all in the hatch right?

also how did u all miss the biggest thing in the episode. in lockes flashback in the airport you see a guy scanning Jack...who is he? have a look!!!!

Well, I didn't mean really hokey superpowers like in Heroes ( I've only seen previews, so I hope I haven't offfended anyone) or other comic book peoples. I mean, it's not the weirdest thing that could be happening on this island and clairvoyance and other psychic powers are supernatural abilities that have been documented in real people (supposedly), not like flying or having lazers shoot out of your eyes. It would also support the very quick healing abilities of Sawyer and Locke. And that lady Rose (and her apparent ability to know her husband was ok).
