So, did Jack's dad and Sara really have an affair?

That remains to be seen, but I suspect not...I think his Dad was really, simply, trying to help his son - Jack was kind of over the rainbow there.

Yeah, didn't seem like there was anything to suggest that any relations ever took place between Jacks dad and Sarah. I'm not ruling it out...but i don't think it ever happened.

I don't think anything happened either. I think Jack was just losing it and was so obsessed with finding out who the other man was, he wasn't thinking clearly.

Indeed, paranoia, I doubt he was sleeping well either. Christian Sheperd although a alcoholic did seem like a decent enough of a man not to do something like that. Besides I think the man by the car Sarah got in to was most likely the guy.

I think that we will find out that Sarahs new man will some how be involved with dharma, perhaps he is a "Whitemore"...

Well...was it ever established who the blond woman was that Christian went to visit in Austrailia? Could it have been Sarah? If so, why would he have travelled to Austrailia to bang on her door? Perhaps that's what he was saying to Jack when he knew what it was like to be Obsessive.

The woman in the doorway in Australia was definetly not Sarah.

ah...well. At least we know where Jack gets his obsessiveness.
