Michael Dawson

Michael Dawson is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He had parental issues with his son, Walt, but the two have bonded with their time on the island. Michael shot dead Ana-Lucia and Libby in order to release Ben from captivity; and ultimately caused the capture of Jack, Sawyer and Kate, when he made a deal with the Others. His whereabouts are currently unknown after he left the Island with his son Walt on a motor boat.

I am thinking that this whole episode was to show how messed up Jack became as a result of 1. losing his wife & 2. being the cause of his Dad going back to drinking. Sarah said Jack's Dad was drunk when he called her to help Jack out of jail that she could hardly understand him. But he had been sober for 50 days. We saw Jack already losing it over Sarah divorcing him, so my whole theory is that this episode is the prequel to show us how Jack is NOT a good guy. His tatoo is from Bangkok (if I remember right), he can shoot better than Kate (ie: when they were in the net), he has a bad bedside manner (according to Hurley) and he has an obsession to make sure everyone is all right (maybe making up for a time in his life where he dismissed the value for human life).

I can't wait to see the flashback of his dark side! ;P

I want to throw out he idea that Sarah is on the island. I mean, I'm pretty sure that Zeke/Tom guy was in a hospital bed at Jack's hospital and Jack was taking care of him. If Tom is there, couldn't Sarah be on the island? All of the stuff that Juliette says she knows about Jack is just background check material, but knowing if someone is happy or not wouldn't be included. Either she is making it up, she knows first hand, or they have like supernatural powers or surveilance techniques. Like sattelites.
