 Mr. Eko
Eko, also known as Mr. Eko or Father Tunde, was one of the tail section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He was a notorious war lord and drug smuggler in Nigeria before his brother Yemi's death. To get out of his country he hastily became a priest, but after Yemi's death, he seemed to take his role more seriously. Eko survived on the Island for 72 days before he was killed by the Monster.

I guess it depends on how you interpret "They" in his sentence - I interpreted it to mean, "The people who were torturing you scratched you up pretty bad"...but I guess it could just be "The cuffs scratched you up pretty bad" |

Well,she didn't have them when she sat down!! I bet Ben didn't give her any coffee-you know how us coffee freaks are  So ,given her propensety to run from all problems,she took off and they had to catch her?
