i gotta read this book!! The film's propa F*** Up though!!

The third doesn't match- look at the wiriting above Stephen- not the book she is holding. .

The movie is pretty funny. You'll see a lot of familiar faces...young faces. John Travolta amoung many. Do we see some foreshadowing? Frustrated telekinetics take down the island?

yeah they did have different copies of the book - newer and older additions. Must have a nice little library there, huh??

Being a Brit, I've only just seen this episode and I have to say the Carrie connection instantly seems to me to be with the Others rather than Walt. The mind thing does suggest Walt but the whole being the "underdog" thing points to the Others.

They refer to themselves as the good guys, which suggests there has to be or have been "bad guys". Perhaps they were once the victims or subjects of whatever testing was going on, probably at the hands of the Dharma Initiative and they now have the power to rise up against that, becoming the power holders over the Losties and perhaps even being out for revenge against the real bad guys ...

In The Other Woman - we get a glimpse of Juliet as Carrie!

Could this be the ostracization for Juliet when she tells Harper she feels like a celebrity?

JULIET: Oh, I-I know. I-I never meant that I...

And then check out the similarities in the picture below? The one of Juliet is when she went into the Tempest station in "The Other Woman."

Woah! Thanks for the screen shot, queenbee! That is an amazing likeness. Does this mean we should expect Juliet is going to go a little mad with revenge at some point when she has had enough of Ben's manipultions?

I just love the idea of the Others book club meetings. What a weird place to sit in on. Gives me an idea for a 'game' thread, what book would you select for an others book of the month club?
I'd have to go with anything by Jack Handy, or "Unexplained Sniglets of the Universe" (1986) by Rich Hall.
