Rift between Juliette and Ben (Henry)?

I sensed a bit of dislike between Juliette and Ben. She chose a book he didn't like. He appears not to trust her and watches her a lot, and she doesn't seem to be afraid of him like the other Others.

Do you think she's a candidate to switch sides and help the Losties?

maybe they used to be a couple, and have since had a falling out...it would explain the slight weirdness between them.

Yeah I read in TV Guide that theres a mention about Benry's love life, maybe they broke up ohmygawd!!!

There is definitely something there. I saw a bit of animosity and annoyance. But, as much as they want to endear Juliet to us by making her less fond of Benry, I refuse to trust her. She is/was a Dharma initiate and everything she does will be skewed that way. I personally like the idea she is like the main character of the book they were studying in book club (Carrie). That means she's going to go wacko on the Others at some point - but it does NOT infer that she will like the losties any better.

Maybe they were once married or something? Ew.

She might switch sides. Or at least help them. Alex helped Claire, what's to stop Juliet? She's probably Jack's love interest this season. And we know what happens to women the Jack like...

I actually saw that a bit different. When the first woman arrives to the book club there is a cute little conversation about Ethan and the plumbing. "A work in progress" I assumed that Ethan was Juliette's husband. Who else would work on the house when you can't call out a plumber? I would dislike the man that sent my husband off on a mission that may have got him killed in the end.

very true...however she seemed to have a problem with Ben even before Ethan is sent off...during the book club meeting, she makes some comments that imply she's got some issues with Ben

Maybe Ethan is her rebound man, and Ben sent him off thinking he might get killed...give him another shot with Juliet? Sounds a bit soap opera-ish, doesn't it?

Yeah, that does seem a bit far fetched, but obviously there is some kind of issue between Julie and Ben. The idea of there being a relationship there at one time seems like a very good idea.

She shot Sawyer in the neck without missing a beat.... He looks and then there's ample amount of voltage coursing through Sawyer's body to knock him out.
