"Other" job..

Well it appears Ethan was not only a highly trained spy, not only a doctor, but also a Plumber, Heh.

Obviously these are very smart people, they have bookclubs by day, and interrogate people by night, or maybe they do that in the day too, who knows afterall Jack is underwater, with the fishies.

I see this as a hippie dahrma commune. Also, Juliette didn't deny that they were dahrma people, but did she really admit it either? Her response to Jack's question really made me think.

I wouldn't say she confirmed they were with Dharma. She just said that was a long time ago. I need to rewatch it to really make sure...(my mind is still spinning)

I think Juliette said "It dosen't matter what we where; It matters what we are." and "They called it Hydra" I think they where part of Dharma. What freaked me out is how modern everything looked it was this little Utopia type village complete with muffins. could they still be connected to Dharma some how?

Last season I thought the Others were a part of Dharma that got left behind and they were just as stuck on the island as the Losties. Now I'm not so sure.

They had modern equipment (CD player), they appeared to have recent information about Jack, so it's like they have contact with the outside world.

Did anyone notice if the "Others" were barefoot in their village? It could be a clue..I know from my childhood that callouses take time to buld up,and wearing shoes soften them up..(yes,I could and did run barefoot down gravel roads)

We now know that everything about that village Michael saw was fake. They live in houses with plumbing, kitchens, etc. But for being Utopian, Juliet can't cook a muffin. Even I can do that. And I did notice that there were a lot of pretty people in this village.

This gives us more insight into what these people are trying to do. When I saw Ethan I went "GASP!Ethan!" and then "GASP! Henry!" and then "GASP! Goodwin!!"

That was the best part.

Do you think that these Dharminians have extensive folders on the lives of Sawyer and Kate? After all Ben only wanted those 3. Why would they be so special? Any theories?

I can only assume they Others/Dharma have folders not only on Jack, Swayer, and Kate, but most if not all of the other Losties. When the episode starts, and Benry sends out the two "scouts," he says he wanted Lists in 3 days. I guess i saw that meaning, they wanted to know WHO survived. Once they found that information out, they began compiling a history of each individual.

As to why they ONLY wanted those 3 people, i have NO idea...still trying to work that one out.
