The only other thing I can think of is that they already had a bunch of things always packed incase they had to leave in a hurry.. Changes of clothes and whatever Ben would feel he needed already packed and ready to go incase there ever was an emergancy where they would have to leave in a hurry..

Another possibility since Ben seems to be prepared for anything at all times..
