For a long time I confused Jeremy Davies for the guy who played the little boy in ET. The same actor who played the youngest brother in Legends of the Fall, Henry Thomas.

Davies was in Ravenous, a movie about cannibalism during the Mexican-American war. And he was also in Spanking the Monkey, a really really disturbing movie partly about incest that beginning in adulthood. Basically he's good at playing really screwed up young guys. He was a good choice for Daniel Faraday.

(Incidentally, I read in IMDB that his real surname is "Boring." How unfortunate is that? Q; "Are you Boring?" A" "Yep, that's me.")
