Thank you, all! It is appreciated. I was v. confused because I thought for sure that "Whatever the Case May Be" was the one where she accidentally kills her childhood sweetheart and that I was missing an episode. (That one comes next chronologically in Kate's story.) That would, of course, be a major oversight and my life would be incomplete w/out all Lost episodes. Then I would be sad. Yup.
As I said the other day, I'm getting my brother up to date on Lost. We are bonding over the Kate-Jack-Sawyer love triangle plotline, among others. We watched probably 10 or 12 episodes back-to-back between Thursday and Friday night. Our eyes were like spinning saucers by the end, but I love watching him figure stuff out. "Hey, that's Kate's dad with Sayid in the first Gulf War!," for example, and being able to tell him, NO he can't make a quick trip to the bathroom at the end of "Dave" even though there are at most 15 seconds left of the episode (that's when we see Libby at Santa Rosa!!!), and making sure he doesn't miss the really big stuff like that. Yesterday he finished Season 2 and emailed: "OMG! Michael just shot two chicks in the Swan! WTH??"
"Yes, learn you do, Young One"...or whatever Yoda would say to Luke Skywalker at that point in his education. Anyway, it's been really fun to watch it with a "newbie" who has no idea what might happen next. And, more importantly, I still have the newest episode of Season 4 to look forward to, since I missed it on Thursday. Ha ha ha! I love having that to look forward to. My life is so full.
