Hey all, normally I would not post political stuff on Losttalk but I have been supporting Alaska Wild League's attempts to save polar bear habitat in Alaska from oil companies. In case you didn't know, these animals are really threatened by habitat loss from global warming and oil drilling. I spent about a month in a tent in arctic Alaska (though not in polar bear territory!) and it really really changed my life. It's breathtaking country.
So, at the risk of chafing some of you, I decided to go ahead and post a link anyway because it's a good cause and I figured it has at least 2 degrees of relevance to Lost fans:
1.) There are polar bears on the island.
2.) Didn't Dominic Monagan do a documentary on polar bears fairly recently?
You don't have to send money. There is a section where, if you are interested, you can send letters and emails to politicians involved.
