Hunh? Why do you call Rose & Bernard horrible people? Bernard risked his life staying behind to blow up the tents with Jin and Sayid. He's a big hero and will be treated as such by the Losties at the beginning of Season 4. Why would Jack not give a rat's hat about him?

I agree with you that it won't be either of them in the coffin, but for different reasons. 1.) Kate would never respond "Why would I go to THAT funeral?" in such an angry and disbelieving tone if the funeral were for Rose or Berhard. 2.) If it were for Rose (maybe makes sense since once off the island her cancer will come back), Jack would have seen Bernard there. If it were Bernard, Jack would have seen Rose there. There was only one coffin, not two. And, most importantly, 3.) Rose and Bernard have sworn never to leave the island so that she can survive her cancer. If they have their way the two of them will be inviting Locke over to their tarp for a fish and mango dinner 35 years from now. Doesn't matter who leaves, they'r staying.
