I don't really understand why what new things we learn about Eko's story from this episode. I mean we already sympathize with him. We know that he was only a criminal because of that one moment where he saved his brother from having to kill someone and everything spiralled out from that one event. What new information do we get about Eko in this episode. Why was it necessary. I don't get it.
