did anyone notice that wen the bird swmped down towards jack, kate, sawyer, hurley and micheal it said hurleys name wat was that all about ??

Some people don't get the newer episodes at the same time as others. (ie: UK gets them a few weeks later than the US).

But I do remember the bird sayin Hurleys name. Just another unanswered question till season 3.

think its got anything to do with the fact that hurley was the only one to be let free out of the 4 capture, u know like "hurley you are the chosen one" or summit like that i dna rli

I think it has more to do with the dead people on the Island...there is clearly some sort of supernatural aspect to things there. I think if anyone said his name it was probably Libby...who might very well be floating around the Island as some kind of ghost now, maybe inhabiting animals if her will is strong enough.

I think the bird was warning Hurley that there was trouble coming their way.

On the other hand, that was one very weird looking bird!

Well, I wasn't going to come right out and say that, but since you did...I agree 100%! I think ol' Smokie is some kind of psychic cloud...which picks up the dead along the way and therefore is sort of the guiding force towards fixing the problems that are occuring on the Island.
