It cut off before that plane crash scene at the end though. But the guys in that station did call penelope and say we found "it". They must mean the island. If they were talking about the boat wouldn't they have said they found "him" ? Also the producers had said the finale would show how things on the island affect the outside world- so here is an example of that, It will be interesting to see how it plays tou next season!!!
