My theory on the way Jack and Kate looked at each other is that all 5 of them must of made a plan that if they let Micheal loose he would come back for them. I think the first episode of season three will be of Micheal crashing the boat into the dock after he drops Walt off at the sailboat.

That would be cool!

Yeah I was thinking of this some more, I think that Micheal will run into Sun, Jin, and Sayid (I think there is more to Sun and Micheal) He will leave Walt with Sun and Sayid, Jin, and Micheal will go back and rescue Jack and crew. That will be a great opener for the 3rd season. Let's start here and try to write out the complete show in what us as viewers would like to see for the first episode of season 3. We can then compare with the actual.

I like this idea. I used to like Michael. I even sort of understood why he killed and set Henry free (to get his son). But I thought leading those guys into a trap and then taking off in the boat, was being selfish to the extreme.

If he is part of a rescue in season 3 then he will be redeemed in my eyes.

If Michael does that, he'd better hurry. I don't think the Others (or whoever they are) will be at the dock/beach area very long. Since it appears all Michael ever saw of their homes were the shacks and pretend hatch and Sayed's visit confirmed that it wasn't their true home, Michael won't know how to find them at least not without being detected.

i think the others will realise that sayid, jin, and sun are at their camp when they get back and think michael broke the agreement and then theyll go out and get him and hell be a prisoner again.

I really like the theory - The writers have said that season 3 is the "Us against them" season, and what better to trigger that than having Michael free Walt AND get the 4 other losties back? Those "Others" would sure be peaved!
