and did anyone catch how Kevin asked Desmond , " what does one snowman say to another snowman ? " when he first found him and asked if desmond was him.... and then Locke asked Desmond the same thing when he first saw him again ... I don't know , seemed like a clue to me .

the snowman thing is what Desmond first asked Locke when they blew their way into the hatch...he also asked Locke "are you him"

unless it messed with the instruments enough to cause the crash, that was NOT what brought the plane down. so the "causing the plane to crash" for a reason theory cannot be discounted, it was not so accidental as the writers may like to make it seem at this time.

If it were just random , that peticular plane just happened to be flying over the island at that percise moment , than why all the connections of the losties in all the flashbacks , no , I think it was much more than that .

I think though that if you look around we are all connected a little more than one would believe. I have gone out of state on vacation and seen someone that I know. I know that everyone being connected is a big step from what I am saying, but we must realize this world is smaller than we think. Back to the finale.
