Jin-Soo Kwon

Jin-Soo Kwon (Revised Romanization of Korean (RR): Gwon Jin-su, McCune-Reischauer (MR): Kwo(n Chin-su) is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Jin was born into a poor upbringing with his fisherman father which he has always been ashamed of. After meeting and in order to marry Sun, the love of his life, he was forced into working into his father-in-law's mafia-type business in which he takes part in horrid tasks. This has made him almost scared of what he is capable of. Due to this, he was over-controlling of Sun in their late-marriage stage. Jin is the only survivor to not speak the native language within the group - English. This has caused a constant language barrier but after Sun revealed she spoke English to the group, this helped him overcome this struggle and has managed to pick up disconnected words and phrases.

Claire loves her baby, and she won't do anything to hurt him. But we don't know much about this vaccine. Des says she's wasting her time, Charlie tried it and seemed fine. We don't even know what it's supposed to protect against. It seems like the stuff Des shot when Kelvin gave it to him, but it could also be the stuff that Ethan injected into Claire, and that might hurt Aaron. We still don't even know what they were putting in her while she was pregnant, and why,... do we?

I wouldn't voluntarily give my child a shot of some unknown substance, at least not till I checked with the Doctor first. Claire will just have to wait for Jack to return and make an appt at Island General........ hee hee

Well unless you can qualify that with some sort of facts or first hand knowledge... i am going to have to call BS.

not only did you finally misspell a word , "numatic" , but from what i can tell They dont make them for injections... The only article i could find with anythng close was a thread from lost talk. and since you cannot use a word to define its self, we cannot use Lost Informatives as definitions.

Also, as far as i know. Depending on the injection. it may need to go directly into the blood stream... wish Jack were here.

I think its definitely pneumatic...Desmond just held it up to himself and squeezed the trigger...and for some reason I'm remembering Charlie showing Claire how easy it was to give to Aaron because it was pneumatic...

Well, my Aunt was nurse for many years, and she backed up what I said. A Pneumatic injector uses air pressure to push the vaccine through your skin. If you were to find a vein to put it in, you would BLOW OUT YOUR VEIN and do severe damage and it could possibly kill the person. A baby would most likely die. BS...I think not!

Note to self: Pushing air into your vein using a pneumatic injector.

thankyou for your clarification. I did a google search before i posted the last one. and every post in the first 2 pages was for commercial sized injectors for machine lube and the like. So i just wanted to know. and you had a typo so i had to level the playing field...

now that i know i can osmosize things through my skin im going to try it...

Right, seemed like you were a little testy there.

Ps - Did you mean "Typo?" No, I'm just kidding.

Unless you've been to medical school, Ben, how would you know either? Pneumatic injectors definitely exist, they just aren't in widespread use in your typical hospital.

And no, I haven't been to medical school, but I do know a lot of useless factoids - way too many in fact!
