Bernard Nadler

Bernard Nadler is a tail section survivor of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815 and the husband of Rose. He is the only tail section survivor that has not been killed, captured, or assimilated in to the Others. He wasn't seated in the tail section, and was only there when the plane crashed because he was using the bathroom then. Bernard cares very much for Rose and feels a need to fix things, like her cancer, not dissimilar to Jack.

Default Clue during commercial
There was a commercial for the Hanso foundation and a phone number
877 HANSORG. I called - got nothing, but we're having more bad storms
(even tornadoes) and may be affecting the phones.

You'd think if it were overburdened we would get a "Sorry, all lines are busy" message. Then I thought OK, they're yanking our chain and it's a bogus phone number. If that were the case we would get a "Sorry you have dialed a wrong number" message. I don't know what to think.

It's real, I got the "All circuits are busy" message, meaning all 30 Million+ Lost fans are calling as we speak.

I've tried about six or seven times. All lines are busy. I'll try again later tonight like aroung 1:00 am.

Hello, newbie here, tho i have posted at other sites before

i missed the commercial (laundry, feeding child, etc) but I called the number this morning...and it was freaky!
Got a central answering service, with a recording of a woman saying "Welcome to the Hanso Foundation, working for a better future..." something like that, and then it said if I knew the extension of the person to enter it now, then she said, "For Alvar Hanso, press 2" and other options for other people...
So I pressed two and there was some music and stuff, and then it said "Verizon Wireless you have reached the voicemail of Alvar Hanso, president and CEO..." and then, when I expected to hear Hanso's recorded voice, I heard instead, a woman, and it sounded like a recording from Hanso's office, and the woman was saying, "Who is this Alvar Hanso, what have you done with him?" and then nothing, and then back to the woman at the beginning saying "You have reached the Hanso foundation"...

It was freaky!!!
