Ana-Lucia Cortez

Ana-Lucia Cortez was an ex-police officer who sat in the tail section of Flight 815 when it crashed. She took a leadership role in the group and led her party across the Island, reuniting them with the rest of the passengers. Ana was known to be very emotionally cold and her background in policing helped her with her leadership role. Ana-Lucia survived on the Island for 65 days before being shot and killed by Michael.

Jack's dad is there for a flashback. If it's about Ana Lucia, it probably has something to do with Jack's display of anger way back when in the first season when he changed his mind about covering for his dad when he found out the lady his dad botched up was pregnant. Could Jack's dad have given Ana Lucia a hysterectomy when one was not called for...or did he cause the death of her unborn baby when he was working on her gunshot wounds?
Food for thought. The possibilities are enormous!!!

Didn't Jack bury the corpse of his dad in season 1? As the whole reason for Jack being on that flight was to go and find/collect his dad from Australia. Therefore, it has to be a flashback - or his dad came back to life somehow
