Angry To the lost writers !!

I don't abot you all but i'm very dissapointed, i used to enjoy watching lost so much, wait for the next episode and talk to my friends about the show, but now it's become so boring, the last 3 episodes have been just to make the season longer with no reason, they think that they can make 40 boring minutes and the last 3 interesting so that everyone is gonna wait for the next one, well i bet almost everyone will do that, but as far as me, i "lost" all my interest in lost, it was i think episode 6 when shannon died, it was probably the worst episode ever but because fo the last 2 minutes everyone said, OHH IT WAS AMAZING, now with michael back it was the same. well that was my opinion, for sure i wont' get much support but i honestly wanted to share my thoughts.

i totally agree. after 'lockdown' i said in another thread: next one or two episodes are gonna be a lot of nothing and i was right. i still watch it of course, everybody will, quiting now is stupide heh, but now instead of enjoying the episodes i get all angry! i don't want to see hurley making out with libby, i want answers now! hahaa
if next episode doesn't 'explain' something my head is going to explode!

Uhm. Aye.
Like finding out about Rose, spicing up the tension between Hurley and Libby, those things didn't matter?
A series just stuffed with action won't last long, THAT's boring if anything. No sunshine without rain, eh?

And aye. The more answers, the less questions, the less interesting to watch. Think.

I can see where you are pissed off, when LOST takes the back seat for awhile and only concentrates on the characters it can get a bit boring. But for me, I am very interested in the characters, seeing what happened to Hurely was a fun time. Bernard and Rose are interesting, Rose in the last episode really added to the mysticism of the Island, also the myth.

But yeah I see where your coming from, if you dont really like character base T.V. and movies you would probaly be annoyed with the last few episodes.

Sometimes I think of LOST as a comic book, they spend some time on the story (sometimes alot of time) and then there is an explosion of action an adventure.

In most tv shows you need to have a down time in order to setup for the climaxtic plots. Look at Sopranos the show just drags when ever they cut to his family, but you need that in order for the good stuff to be exciting.

And you have to have the "down time" (or character development) for the audience to understand the exciting/good stuff. For example, how much could we understand about Hurley and the numbers if we'd never seen the episodes that explained where he got he numbers to win the lottery and how he came to have a superstition about the numbers being unlucky.

The thign you need to always keep in the back of your mind is that J.J Abrahms is a geneous, and doesn't do things for no reason. I know he could fill every episode full of questions and answers and action and dying and monsters etcetcetc... but you need to stop and realize - these characters ARE the show. Their story and backstory are VITAL to the ending and conclusion of the story.

I really didn't like this episode just because it was so predictable. First scene with Dave on island, ok ok he's some imaginary friend. Cut to the flashback with Dave in the hospital. Yeah, he's clearly imaginary, no one is interacting with him, I've scene this in Sixth Sense. Forty minutes later, GASP he doesn't exist! And gasp! Libby appeared at the end! Wasn't surprised by that either. There was a slight chance they'd just show her right away, but knowing this show, I knew they'd wait to show her at the end.

I don't mind character development, but basically we learned a lot of things we already know and probably got a lot of red herrings too. I was much more interested in Locke and his development.

Have you notice that they still haven't told us how he (Locke) lost the use of his legs?

It makes every one of his flashbacks that much edgier. Each time, I think, "Okay, this is where he 'gets' it!"
