Any one catch what Hurley's script was?

Not that i think its needed, but no, its not a dream. Even if the producers hadn't said anything about the plot not being a dream, i still would have known it wasn't a dream. Just didn't fit with all the knowledge we've gathered or OTHER characters.

Maybe it a dream maybe it's not, but we know for sure that Dave was imaginary because the last shot of the ep we see Hurley posing for the photo and Dave is obviously not there.

I don't know the particulars about the medication Hurley was taking, but there are a lot of psychotropic drugs that stay in your system for a long time. Maybe it was a combination of what has been said here, plus his medication had worn off.

I don't know about DEMON eyes, but when i first saw Dave, my immediate reaction was that he had jet black eyes. A lot like Locke did in the first Season when Claire had her dream. (not sure of the episode...sorry) Who knows if it holds significance, but possibly connection? Maybe it just shows even more that its just in Hurley's mind

Dave like many imagined characters was very decieving, he was the part of Hurley who did not want to change. Dave came up with a wild and crazy situation (Its all in your head) to alienate him from everyone elses control. Lol, you could say that many manifestations are very needy friends, they usually want more and more from you until they control youf life. Some might say that that is the same thing as you controlling your own life, but really Dave was a far different person then Hurley.
