Boone Carlyle

Boone Carlyle was a middle section survivor of Oceanic Flight 815 and was Shannon's stepbrother. He attempted to assume a semi-leadership role with the survivors but failed due to being rash and young, though he became Locke's apprentice when the two formed a close bond. Boone survived on the Island for 41 days before he died of injuries sustained in a fall whilst he tried to contact 'rescuers' from the drug smugglers' plane. According to Locke, Boone was a sacrifice the Island demanded.

Default Killer Decks

I am posting this to see if we can get some dialogue about it. It doesn't fit perfectly as a hypothesis for how all of the castaways are related, but it is a thought that my wife brought up. When we learned that Hurley had killed a few people with the collapse of the deck, she suggested that so far, many of the main characters that we have, have killed someone before getting to the island. There are plenty that we do not know about yet, but it does provide at least some sort of link between many of the characters (Kate, Sawyer, Jack, Hurley, Jin, AL, Sayid, Echo). Maybe as the season progresses, we will discover that some of the other characters like Charlie, Locke, etc. also had this in common. Just a thought, would love to see what you guys think of it.

Wait, who did Jin kill? He just beat that guy up, we have not seen anyone murdered by him.

I like that theory. I'm just taking a shot in the dark, but I think Charlie has something to do with the death of his brother. If ever happened, haha. Maybe they give the band another shot and his brother gets too carried away again, and eventually dies.

There were 23 people on the deck designed to hold 8?

I take it back. I know Charlie couldn't have had anything to do with his brother's death, even if it happened. I know this because Charlie visits his brother and storms off to the airport after learning that his brother wants to settle down with his family.

Charlie's brother is not dead. Charlie visited him in Australia to get
him to come backto the band and Liam turned him down. Charlie
stormed off mad, but Liam was alive when Charlie left Australia.

I thought the same thing as you MB...what kind of deck only holds 8 people? (And yes, two numbers again...designed to hold 8 and there were 23 people on it...)

some apartments have teeny tiny decks - only about 4 feet by 8 ft and I can
see that only holding 8 people.
