Kate Austen

Kate Austen is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Kate is a fugitive, and was being pursued by Marshal Mars prior to the flight, for blowing up her father. Kate had been captured in Australia and was being escorted back to the United States before the crash. Kate has always seemed to run away from her past. Even on the Island, Kate exhibits a kind of evasive behavior to escape from her problems. Kate, when on the run, always had good intentions and never did any outright harm or killings to anybody, she believed she was doing things for the greater benefit of others. This view is prominently connected with her actions of her father's murder - she believed she was relieving her mother from his abusive presence. Kate is strong-willed, useful and clever, but dislikes being alone and is usually level-headed.

She has escaped from the captivity of the Others with Sawyer, and has formed an ambiguous romantic relationship with him, despite still being unsure about her feelings for Jack.

I guess my mind immediately assumed a boat dock or deck of some sorts too. But after hearing some of this dialouge, i think you might be right in saying it was more of a patio or deck on a house or apartment. We'll see.

As far as the initial theory for the post goes, i think you may be on to something. I've thought about that myself, as far as everyone having been involved in a death of some sort. Who knows...i think we will see everyone involved...how that will play out, i have no idea!

When the Hurley said, 'If I wasn't fat, the accident never would have happened,' how many thought "Oh, no! Hurley's responsible for Locke's accident!"

Come on, , raise your hands. I did.

I mentioned the heiroglyphics in that the phrase relates to the possible theory of causing someone to die.

Good thought on Hurley/ locke- I hadn't thought of it!!!

Liam is older than Charlie and calls him baby brother.
In Charlie's dream/flashback on Christmas, his mom and Liam are saying
"Save us with your music" but it was more of a metaphor not literal.

In Chicago, a couple of years back, something like 16-20 people died when the second floor wooden deck at the back of a high-rise collapsed, taking out the deck immediately below it.

The City did a crash building inspection of recreational decks and found that almost 60% were not up to code. These decks were added by building owners, using local contractors (they were not part of the original structure).

So...the deck didn't have to be 4 foot by eight or ten.
