Bernard Nadler

Bernard Nadler is a tail section survivor of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815 and the husband of Rose. He is the only tail section survivor that has not been killed, captured, or assimilated in to the Others. He wasn't seated in the tail section, and was only there when the plane crashed because he was using the bathroom then. Bernard cares very much for Rose and feels a need to fix things, like her cancer, not dissimilar to Jack.

Default Did Hoax-Henry press the numbers?

In "Dave" Locke is told by Hoax-Henry that he Henry never pushed the buttons after he climbed through the vents to the computer...Is this true? Or is he lieng to provoke Locke again?

I think that Locke is DHARMA's oldest test, almost all of the DHARMA initiates know how Locke ticks, this includes Hoax-Henry. So he already knows how to twist things so Locke feels insecure.

I would agree that he pushed the numbers, although I do find it odd that he knows what happens when the timer gets to zero. I am not totally sold that the "others" are Dharma quite yet. But I think that the numbers were pushed.

I like the idea that the numbers don't really have to be pushed. It goes off and things happen, just to get the button-pusher thinking, and then the timer automatically resets. I'm still working on why... but that's the rough draft of my theory.

Don't forget Locke was able to push the numbers after the clock changed.

I was intrigued about how Henry not only mentioned "him" but also seemed to dwell on the fact that "God's doesn't know how long they have been there." I am not sure what that is supposed to be a reference to, but I makes one think back to the theories about the island being "Purgatory" or something like that. Not that I buy that, but it does make one think.

Yeah it makes me think of the time that the writers assured us that the show is not Purgatory. lol.

"I'm done lying" says Hoax Henry. Obviously not with the evidence that Seide (sp?) provides with the note, but there are 2 problems that could arise from the note that Henry had on him:

A: Siede could have eaisly foged the note with money of his own, possibly to frame HH (Hoax Henry) and to result in Seide killing him. OR

B: The note was real. But Locke never heard about the note, and therefor could start believing that HH decided to give in and start believing him, because HH has nothing left to support the tale.

Either way, I think that HH is trying to provoke Locke inorder to totaly manipulate Locke to helping him in the end. Locke has already attempted to protect HH becasue of HH's lies. So yes, Locke could be an experiment, or just a tool HH is making to save his own arse.

edit, sorry, almost little off-topic, y'all post faster then me

I totally agree. I think HH knows that Locke is frustrated with his loss of "power" because of his injury. Take for example when Locke is yelling at Jack after Sayid fired the shots. The fact that he is powerless is really getting to him, and HH is taking advantage of that...
