Did Henry hit the button?

Just a thought. I was wondering if Henry actually hit the button. It seemed that if he did, he would have been sitting or at least very close to the computer. Since he wasn't, it leads me to question if anything really does happen if the button isn't pushed.
Any thoughts?

I can't swear that he pushed it but I don't think there is any evidence against it. Ifyou remember Locke called out his name for over a minute until he reappeared. So Henry (well we know that's not his name) had plenty of time to move away. I am guessing he was trying to find a way back
to help Locke when the blast doors reopened.

Yeah there seems to be a delay between him pushing it and when the doors come up. But there also may be a little time to push it after the actual countdown goes to 0 like whne Locke experienced it when the symbols appeared on the timer , perhaps the same occured except this time he was somewhere else and witnessed the Map .

The doors weren't triggered by the clock running out, so that makes me doubt that resetting the clock is what made them go up. Maybe Henry knew another way to raise them?

I think they just raised automatically after the food was delivered.
There was a countdown just before they lowered. They probably just went
back up on their own or were triggered by whoever delivered the food.

Am I the only one who thinks that Henry isn't one of the Others but actually something else?

Also, I think that the blast doors are on a timer, they're designed to come down at a specific time and for a specific amount of time. The idea is to lock the hatch dwellers inside while supplies are parachuted outside, that way it assures no contact between the hatch dwellers and the people in charge of the Dharma project.

So the person who drew the map would've done so every time food was dropped...how often is that?

I do like the idea that the doors drop to keep them in...but what if they're not all in the living space? And does anyone know what was being said through the intercom system? I could swear I heard someone saying something like "Locke...it's me..."

Every 6-8 months. The diagram also noted next to the "6-8 months" part that there had been 5 fatalies. During a food drop??? Did they drop it on someone's head????
