Sun-Hwa Kwon

Sun-Hwa Kwon (née Paik ?) (Revised Romanization of Korean (RR): Baek Seon-hwa, McCune-Reischauer (MR): Paek So(n'hwa) is one of the middle section survivors of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815. She was traveling on the plane with her husband, Jin-Soo Kwon. Their marriage has been very unstable, on and off the island, mainly due to Jin's controlling and violent nature and also because of Sun's many secrets that she will go to great lengths to protect even if it involves hurting others e.g. the maid in "The Glass Ballerina". She is currently pregnant with Jin's child, and according to Juliet the pregnancy will kill her in two months like every other pregnant woman who conceived on the island.

Default Will Locke keep his promise?

So Hoax-Henry said he would help Locke, if Locke promised to keep him safe from the other losties. Locke opens the door and asks him who he is. He lies and tells him once again, he's Henry. Only then Locke makes the promises to him.
Hoax-Henry then goes on to help Locke and "save" him and the rest of the island by entering the numbers. (As far as Locke is concerned) Then stays and helps Locke when he could have run off.
Do you think Locke will now, hold to his promise and try to help Hoax-Henry? Or, do you think Locke will say, Forget it! You lied to me, so the promise is void. Dispite the fact that H.H. held to his side of the bargain?

I think Locke will not keep his promise now that the truth about Hoax-Henry has come out, Hoax-Henry not lieng to Locke was part of the deal, so Lock should not feel obliged to live up to it. Afterall the very foundation (Im tired and it took me 30 seconds to come up with the right word for that) in which the promise was formed was broken by Hoax-Henrys lies.

Locke does not have much of a choice anyway, notice that there are 4-5 egotistical people in the room, and Locke is the injured one.

Hoax Henry - good one. We all know Locke is an honorable man as evidenced
by helping his father again. H.H.'s lying would negate the promise in some eyes, but all John did was agree to protect him. Define protect. Maybe if
he just keeps Sayid from beating the living daylights out of him, that will
qualify as keeping the promise.
I can't wait to find out what he tells them now that his cover is blown.

I don't think Locke will keep his promise now that they know Henry is ex-Henry, BUT, I would not be surprised if he tries to somewhat defend him... I think Locke was greatly surprised and impressed that ex-Henry helped him in the lockdown rather than run. Actually, wait... a new... thought... is... coming......

AHA! Locke WON'T defend him because he's hurt that he's been conned again by someone he trusted... then he might be really ticked off.

Ohhhh, good train of thought. I'm sure even a patient man like John gets
tired of being screwed. He agreed with Sayid about the interrogation, and
said to Jack "what if he's not (telling the truth). Then he (John decides to
let him out to eat and stretch. He probably fees a little foolish being
taken in again.

Locke seems to live in hope that someone/anyone can be trusted,as long as that person is male.....Helen would have stood by him forever,if only he told the truth, but she didn't count, being female as she is...double standerd, anyone?

I think it will not mater. Sayid as we saw in the preview will probably just go in there give him a chance to come clean. If this happens and the supposed "Henry gale" doesn’t come clean he will shoot him.

Well, I don't think Locke will keep his promise, since he gave his word to Henry Gale from Minnesota, which evidently isn't the white guy in the hatch.

I think lying would in my mind be a deal breaker. But I also think conning me out of a kidney would be a deal breaker and yet Locke still helped his father.
As I said before, I guess it will depend on the definition of "protecting."

Locke will do the opposite of whatever Jack does in an attempt to establish dominance. He'll be taking a gamble by standing next to Henry, but if it pays off, it will pay off big time.
