Remember back for the promo for One of Them, they showed a different countdown clock than the one in the hatch? At least, I think that's what it was... people on here were trying to figure everything out.
Maybe it was supposed to be in the episode but got cut or something. Or perhaps the producers are just trying to make us all angry, rabid fans. My vote is for the latter.

Yes, and everyone was trying to figure out where the second countdown clock was. I rewatched that part of the episode 20 times and the clock never
changed. This explosion of which the young Padiwan (sp?) speaks must be another must be another example.

Was the explosion part of a sequence that showed Locke fiddling with a speaker, then getting zapped, starting to fall backward, accompanied by a loud blast of static?

I remember seeing something like that in "Next Week On Lost" right after The Whole Truth episode.

Forgive me if this seems stupid. But I recall the noise could have sounded like the start of an explosion. And they showed the blast door going down before Locke gets zapped.

Ok, am I crazy? On the promo for SOS it showed Sayid pointing a gun at
Henry and Henry saying, I can't, he'll kill me!! And Sayid responded "I'll
kill you. That didnt happen, Just like the explosion that never happened.
Did I miss it. Was it on previews for next week?

right if you guys want to do this we are gna have to get hold of a load of promos and make note of what episode it is shown after and what happens in the promos then flick through later episodes and see if these events actually do happen then we should do the same for a few of the promos and compare them and see if we can find a pattern then we will know roughly when the events we see are going to happen.

so what do you guys think??? good idea or too much work ?? im sure there is some fan(s) who will put the time and effort in to doing this and i hope they will let me know about their results.
