--Blast Door Diagram-- - Page 13

ok I have the new entertainment weekly and it has a very detailed picture of the diagram. Here's some interesting tidbits about what's on it(sorry if It gets confusing or I go into way to much detail, but this damn diagram has me hooked":

First I'll talk about the actual diagram and then I'll write about the legible scribblings.

Starting clockwise, the first visible "hatch" is call "Arrow" next to it is another "hatch" which is dotted(the writer of EW theorizes that whoever wrote the diagram was possibly unsure if this was another hatch), in the middle of the dotted hatch is the writing "c3?"-again possibly meaning the writer is unsure of the location, after the "c3?" is a rectangle with writing in the middle, "cv IV". After that is another dotted hatch with the writing, "c4?", after that is another rectangle with the writing "cv III".

Next we get to The Swan. In the Swan to the right is an unreadable intials, to the left of that is another rectangle with the writing, "cv II". The person did infact write "I AM HERE" pointing to the Swan. To the left of that is another tunnel with and x at the end and inside that is more intials. to the left of that is another rectangle with "CV I".

To the left of that is another Hatch, titled "The Flame", to the left of the Flame, is another hatch titled, "The Staff"-in the back of The Staff hatch is 3 tiny scratches. To the left of that is another dotted hatch that is illegble and scratched out.

Ok so onto the scribblings(some are in French). I will put a ^ for the letters I can't read, and a phrase with a number attached is what the EW writer had to say about it.

Starting with The Arrow and going clock wise around the diagram-to the right of it is the phrase, ^ble manufacturing ^culity with light industrial equipment. It's safe to say that it this phrase says, "possible difficulty with light industrial equipment. Right under and across from the "c3?" box is another phrase that reads, "^ terrain most likely used by DIHG for meteorlogical research." I believing it says "Maintaing". I can only read the DI from DIHG but i believe that what it means b/c those letters come up alot in the scribblings.

Under this phrase is a math equation, and under that is "Geological Composition Magn^ Interference with weather project." it's safe to say the Mag^, is Magnectic. Under that is the phrase, "-Interference might also prevent location from use as listening station/cryptograpy, reseach/^, analysis" This is all by the "cvIV" box and the "c4?" hatch. Another phrase that can be read is "High potential for R.V.S^"

Where CVIV is at the is this "CVIV?" and "The Pearl?", some French phrase that I couldnt translate, then there is CVIII underlined and the phrase "sightings coincide with emergency shutdown of intranet service per^ of Heightened Security. Under the "CV III" box is the following: Primary Nexus of Cerebrus related activity" and then here is what get's interesting, (4)-"*Known location of resting place of Magnus Hanso/Black Rock", under that is "Activity minimal during lockdown and restocking procedure. To the right of this, at the very bottome of the picture is "Rev- 4.-3.-02 Possible Location of Zoological Research Facility", under that is (5)-"Stated goal ^ of ursus maritimus through gene therapy and extreme climate change.

Next we get the writings by "The Swan", underneath is "THE SWAN ^ of 6 ( 4,8,15,16,23,42) ^ of HG Delegation inspection 12.07.81. To the right of this is something I found to be very interesting regard the episode that the diagram showed up in. " System Wide Shutdown of Dharmatel Intranet 4.08.00, 8.15.01, 01-06-06-Complete Shutdown in effect. The reason I think this is interesting is because I believe the person who drew the diagram was the person who was in the hatch alone(not the guy jack knows, the other one I can't remember his name.), the reason behind this theory is becuase next to "The Staff" hatch is the phrase, "Estimated Travel Time incompatible with 108, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SURVEY". If this guy was alone in the hatch during a complete shutdown he probably drew the map in belief that he wouldn't be let out. Moving on: next to that phrase is this "Possible CV II-Inactive since the accident", to the left of that is "*PRD: Every 6-8 Months, Fatalities-5." Inside of the "I AM HERE" phrase is something I can barely read "^ because contents blocked after incident". Maybe he is talking about the paths that have "X"s on them.

Ok, im actually going to stop now...im such an idiot. I only read the first half of this thread and realized that someone also posted alot of what I have already said. If you guys want more of map/scribblings let me know and I will post the rest but I have just spent an hour on this and am a little frustrated, sorry for wasting your time if I did.

1)she had a self made 'compound'.

2) and since she was in a self made 'compound', she was not in any compound that pertains to the map.

doesnt DIHG mean DHARMA INITIAVE HANSO GROUP???

I believe the dotted hatches are under water, makes sense because of the cable Sayid found thats leads from the jungle and out in the sea.

They might also have something to do with the shark.

Marin biological research/experiments?

The cable is probably a condiut for the Dharmatel network.
