Charlie's Bum.

I don't know if this will lead to anything but, I Have to bring it up.
When A.L., Sayid and Charlie are off on their nature hike, to find the ballon, Charlie asked A.L. if she was checking out his bum. No, It's a gun. Then the whole sceen about her killing Shannon and in the end Sayid gets the gun.
Okay! Unless Charlie has a very good excuse ready to go on how he has one of the guns that Sawyer has taken, I would have to believe that Sayid and A.L. may figure out that he helped Sawyer steal the guns.
They have such trust issues as it is, that It's not that far a jump to figure out the attack on Sun the same day was a distraction. Sawyer didn't do it. So....There's Charlie. The fear Charlie attack caused is the same type of fear that got Shannon killed. I would not want to be him if and when the two people who where hurt the most buy Shannon's death, figure that out.
It just seems odd that they would put that sceen in for no reason. What do you think?

I thought it was just in there for a bit of comic relief. Then again, I'm not one to really read into things like that.

But I do like your theory on it. It makes sense.

I thought Charlie was being an arse to Angry-Lucia. He was fighting fire with fire, which will just make the fire bigger.

I kept waiting for Angry Lucia or Sayid one to ask Charlie how he got
the gun. It may come up in another episode. Charlie isn't that bright
and he is very paranoid. I'm sure he'll let something slip before long.
I am glad Sayid can at least see AL didn't do it on purpose (Don't jump down my throat, JT, I promise I won't defend her too much) I'm just saying
he is starting to heal if he can begin to see other reasons for what
happened and not have a blind rage - well, at least not toward her.
He has switched the blame to Henry Gale.

A.L. is messed up in the head. She is angry and scared and off her rocker sometimes.
That said, I don't think she is doing any of this just to be mean. She has issues, BIG issues and a twisted view on what needs to be done and how to do it. But, she did what she thought was right, like Sayid said to keep the other people in her group safe. She's human and flawed like the rest. I'm glad to see Sayid forgive her. He needs to focus on other things.

I thought it was an interesting mix of characters to go off looking for the balloon. It makes sense in a way since Ana Lucia and Sayid have both
"interviewed" Uncle Henry. I loved it when AL told Sayid " Jack and Locke
are too busy worrying about Locke and Jack. Very perceptive.
I guess they had to invite Charlie since he already knew about Henry
and would probably blab to the whole camp if they left him behind.
