3 things:

1. Henry's map looks like he sent them well past the line Zeke declares it's 'where a misunderstanding turns into something else'. All because they wont discuss anything anymore...Honestly...if Henry has only said one truth, it's that these guys really DO have trust issues...and it's gonna get someone killed...soon. My bet it's Charlie.

2. Seriously, why is Bernard looking for pearl oysters, instead of trying to survive????? Dont trust this guy!!!!! He's trying to get Jin killed by the Dharma spyshark!!

3. Did Gale know that the Tailies were on the other side...(maybe Eko said something, not sure) but why would he say to AL: "You walked all the way from the other side of the island...THAT must have been INTERESTING!"...why so Hank...what do YOU know about what the trans-island expressway has to offer it's travellers???

Point 1 - this was bound to happen (groups splitting up) and it'll be good to see what happens.

Point 2 - Bernard was trying to get back in good terms with his wife. Give him a break.

Point 3 - Maybe AL told him all about it while they were talking in there. I loved how Jack was worried Henry would kill AL, while Locke rightly worried AL would kill Gale. Good stuff.

And, how did Charlie know about Gale? And what was he doing with Sayid, are they building Eko's church?

What is Uncle Henry's deal. It's like he wants them to think he is evil.
When I saw how far the map took them I thought "He could be sending
them into a trap." Why would he say all that and then say "Good thing
I'm not." He is soooooooo wierd.
Then in the previews for next week it shows the balloon.
Maybe the Others just saw the balloon crash (or caused it to do so)
and now Henry is just using it for a cover story.

How did Charlie know about Uncle Henry? I thought maybe Sawyer might
have told him. Does Sawyer know? I can't remember.
Sayid might have told him - Are he and Charlie buddies now?
Or maybe Charlie is sneaking around and spying on the others in the camp.

And as far as Bernard - he is fine. He was looking for a pearl because
he forgot his wife's birthday. I know it sounds silly, but for some women
that is one of the worst crimes a man can commit. I'll cut Bernard some slack because I guess after a while it would be hard to keep up with the dates. In the summer, when school is out, I almost never know what the
date is or sometimes what day it is.

So reading these quotes is getting well confusing!!
Who's Gail?
Who saw the balloon?
Why are they following a map?
I know this must sound silly but...............
But remember nearly every quote or line is said for a reason &
if you're assuming it, it's probably not true!!

Folks, please be reminded that this is television. People don't forget birthdays like real life - they're SCRIPTED to forget birthdays, which means the writers needed a way to make Bernard relevant to us so he can be used later. My guess is he becomes a victim of some Lord-Of-The-Flies-style killin' or Henry Gale kills him.

Henry Gale is the guy they caught in the episode 'One of Them'. They've been keeping him in the hatch. He claimed that he and his wife were traveling in a balloon which crashed on the island. According to him, his wife died.

In this ep, Locke asked Anna Lucia to talk to him to see if he was telling the truth. She told him if he could provide a map to the balloon, it would make his story more believable, so he did. AL, Syaid and Charlie took the map and went searching. They reached the spot, but the balloon wasn't there.

As far as Charlie knowing about Henry - at the end of this ep, when Sun and Jin were talking about who already knew about the baby, Sun made the comment "by the end of the day there won't be anyone left to tell". I think that was the writer's way of letting us know that there are a lot of conversations going on between the Losties and they aren't always shown.
